Saturday mornings on the Special Olympics soccer field remind Maegan Manning that service is about showing up, week after week. Watching athletes grow in confidence has shaped the same patient encouragement Maegan offers classmates, including a first-year student who knows support is only a call or text away. During clinical rotations, Maegan makes time to hear patients’ stories and advocate for their needs. Across each setting, the goal is simple: help people feel heard and able to keep going.
