On Friday afternoons, Ash Trapp can often be found baking desserts and helping create a welcoming space for families at Boise’s Ronald McDonald House. Those small acts of kindness reflect the same commitment that guides Ash’s leadership of ICOM’s Student Osteopathic Medical Association chapter and advocacy for stronger healthcare systems. Helping coordinate a health fair with 32 community organizations offered another way to bring that commitment to life: connecting neighbors with preventive care and resources they might otherwise go without.
